Coconut Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbsshrimp(shelled, deveined, butterflied)
grain
  • 1 boxbatter mix
other
  • 1 bagcoconut(shredded)

Instructions

  1. Mix batter.
  2. Put coconut in a pie plate.
  3. Dip shrimp in batter, then in coconut.
  4. Fry in a pan with enough oil to come 1/4 - 1/2 up pan.
  5. Fry shrimp until golden brown.
  6. Drain on paper towels.
  7. Can place on aluminum trays & freeze.
  8. Reheat in 400° oven until warmed through & sizzling.
  9. Serve with mustard dipping sauce.
