Ingredients

Instructions

  1. SIFT TOGETHER:
  2. 4 1/2 cups CAKE FLOUR
  3. 5 ts. baking powder
  4. 2 ts. salt
  5. 3 cups granulated sugar
  6. ADD:
  7. 1 cup shortening + 2 tbs
  8. 2 cups milk - whole - 1/2 cup
  9. 2 ts. flavoring
  10. Beat 3 minutes at medium speed
  11. ADD:
  12. 6 whole eggs
  13. Beat 3 minutes more at medium speed
  14. Bake in 350 oven - 35 - 40 minutes.
