Instructions
- SIFT TOGETHER:
- 4 1/2 cups CAKE FLOUR
- 5 ts. baking powder
- 2 ts. salt
- 3 cups granulated sugar
- ADD:
- 1 cup shortening + 2 tbs
- 2 cups milk - whole - 1/2 cup
- 2 ts. flavoring
- Beat 3 minutes at medium speed
- ADD:
- 6 whole eggs
- Beat 3 minutes more at medium speed
- Bake in 350 oven - 35 - 40 minutes.

Milk - 1 1/2 - 2 3/4* cups (when recipe is doubled)
1 ts. vanilla
Beat 2 minutes - medium speed
ADD:
2 whole eggs
4 oz. unsweetened chocolate
BEAT 2 minutes more - medium speed
Bake in 350 oven 35 - 40 minutes
