Expertly Marinated Baked Chicken Recipe

- ✓1/3 cupolive oil
- ✓salt

- ○1 tablespoonwhole-grain mustard

- ○1 teaspoonAleppo pepper
Instructions
- Combine olive oil, lemon juice and zest, Aleppo pepper, mustard, garlic, salt, pepper, and thyme in a bowl. Whisk briskly until the dressing comes together forming a light yellow color.
- Place all pieces of the chicken into a deep, oven-safe baking dish. Brush the marinade evenly on all sides of each piece of chicken.
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least an hour, but no more than six hours.
- Preheat the oven to 400 F. Remove the plastic wrap from the baking dish and place it in the oven for about an hour, until the internal temperature reaches 165-175 F.
- Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.

Serve the chicken with sides like asiago mashed potatoes and roasted broccoli, or use the meat in soups and salads.
