Manischewitz Paletas

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cuplime juice
  • 1 tbsplime zest
pantry staple
  • 1/2 cupsugar
  • salt
other
  • 2 cupsManischewitz wine
  • 1 cupwater

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the Manischewitz wine, water, and sugar.
  2. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is dissolved.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the lime juice, lime zest, and a pinch of salt.
  4. Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature.
  5. Pour the mixture into popsicle molds.
  6. Insert sticks and freeze until solid, about 4-6 hours.
  7. To release the paletas, run warm water over the outside of the molds for a few seconds.

My notes

For a non-alcoholic version, substitute grape juice for the Manischewitz wine.
