Instructions
- Thinly slice the beef to 1/8 inch or less, ensuring it's chilled for easier slicing.
- In a bowl, combine minced lemongrass, garlic, sugar, fish sauce, soy sauce, vegetable oil, chili flakes, salt, and pepper.
- Add the sliced beef to the marinade and mix well. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat a grill or nonstick pan over high heat.
- Cook the beef in batches to avoid overcrowding, ensuring each piece is charred and cooked through.
- Serve the beef over vermicelli noodles or rice, or use it as a filling for salad rolls.
