Pillowy Soft Cinnamon Rolls

- ○1/4 cupunsalted butter(melted)

- ✓1 cuppowdered sugar
- ○3/4 cupbrown sugar
- ○2 teaspoonsground cinnamon
- ○2 1/4 teaspoonsinstant yeast
- ○1/4 cupgranulated sugar
- ✓1/4 cuphoney
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let sit until foamy, about 5 minutes.
- In a large bowl, mix together sugar, honey, flour, and salt.
- Add softened butter, eggs, and yeast mixture to the flour mixture. Stir until a sticky dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 2 hours or until doubled in size.
- Punch down the dough and roll it out into a rectangle.
- Spread melted butter over the dough and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll the dough tightly into a log and cut into 10 rolls.
- Place rolls in a greased baking dish, cover, and let rise for 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake the rolls for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
- In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar and milk to make the icing.
- Drizzle icing over warm rolls and serve.
My notes
For extra gooey rolls, apply a thin layer of icing while rolls are warm.
