Crab and Shrimp Cakes

Ingredients
produce
- 3 tbspchives(finely chopped)
- 2 tbsplemon zest
- 1 tbsplemon juice
protein
- 2eggs(slightly beaten)
- 1/2 lbshrimp(peeled + cleaned)
- 1 lbcrab meat(jumbo lump if available)
grain
- 1 cupbreadcrumbs
pantry staple
- salt(to taste)
- pepper(to taste)
Instructions
- Combine all of the above ingredients gently - try not to break up the crab meat.
- Shape into burger sized patties.
- Fry in canola oil or clarified butter until crusty and shrimp are pink.
- Serve with remoulade, aioli, or tartar sauce.
