Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F/204°C.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a baking sheet.
  3. Slice the red onions and arrange them over the puff pastry.
  4. Dollop marscapone cheese over the onions.
  5. Sprinkle fresh thyme, salt, and pepper over the top.
  6. Brush the edges of the puff pastry with egg wash.
  7. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes until golden brown.
