Tomato, Caper & Celery Salad

Ingredients

  • 0.5 bunchcilantro(finely chopped)
  • 4tomatoes
  • 5celery(peeled and finely diced)
  • 1onion(finely chopped)
pantry staple
  • 2 tbspolive oil
  • salt

  • 5 tbspSignature Harissa
  • 1 tbspPreserved Lemon Paste
  • 2 ozcapers(soaked in water to get rid of the saltiness)

Instructions

  1. Using a serrated peeler, peel the tomatoes. Cut in half and remove the seeds and liquid.
  2. Finely chop the tomatoes and place in a mixing bowl.
  3. Drain the capers, roughly chop, and add to the mixing bowl with the rest of the ingredients.
  4. Taste for salt and serve.

My notes

Our Preserved Lemon Paste is an all-natural product and is therefore subject to slight variations due to the amount of natural pectin in each batch. We recommend that customers who receive Preserved Lemon Paste with a more gel-like texture either blitz their desired amount in a blender or use a knife to gently run through the product on a cutting board until it reaches their desired texture.
