Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the flour and salt.
- Make a well in the center and add the eggs, water, and oil.
- Mix until a dough forms, then knead on a floured surface until smooth.
- Cover the dough and let it rest for 30 minutes.
- In a skillet, heat oil over medium heat and add the onion.
- Cook until the onion is soft, then add the ground beef.
- Season with salt and pepper and cook until the beef is browned.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/8 inch thick.
- Cut the dough into 3-inch squares.
- Place a spoonful of the beef mixture in the center of each square.
- Fold the dough over to form a triangle and seal the edges.
- Bring a pot of chicken broth or water to a boil.
- Drop the kreplach into the boiling liquid and cook until they float to the top, about 5-7 minutes.
