Homemade Crispy Pan Fried Dumplings

- 1 tbsplight soy sauce
- 1 tspsesame oil
- white pepper

- 1 tspinstant dried yeast
- 140 mllukewarm water
- chicken stock jelly(optional)
Instructions
- Mix the flour, sugar, and instant dried yeast together in a bowl.
- Slowly add the lukewarm water while mixing until a dough is formed.
- Knead the dough until smooth then cover and let it rest for proofing, but don’t let it fully double in size.
- For the filling, mix together the pork, spring onions, cabbage, egg, soy sauce, sesame oil, white pepper, sugar, salt, and chicken stock jelly if using.
- Divide the dough into small pieces and flatten each piece.
- Place a spoonful of filling onto each piece of dough and shape into dumplings.
- Pan fry the dumplings in oil until the bottoms are golden brown and crispy.
- Add a little water to the pan and cover to steam until the dumplings are cooked through.
