Eggnog

Ingredients

  • 4egg whites
  • 4egg yolks

  • 2 cupsmilk
  • 1 cupheavy cream
pantry staple
  • nutmeg(grated)
  • 1/3 cupsugar

  • 1/2 cupbourbon
  • 1/4 cupdark rum

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk the egg yolks and sugar together until they become creamy.
  2. Slowly add in the milk, cream, bourbon, and rum while whisking continuously.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
  4. Gently fold the egg whites into the egg yolk mixture until well combined.
  5. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
  6. Serve cold, garnished with grated nutmeg.
