Baked Eggs With Onions and Cheese

Ingredients

  • 2onions(thinly sliced)
  • herbs(chopped fresh)

  • 1/2 cupcheese(grated)

  • salt
  • 2 tablespoonolive oil
  • black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large ovenproof skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the sliced onions and cook, stirring occasionally, until they are soft and golden brown, about 15 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper.
  4. Make four indentations in the onions and crack an egg into each indentation.
  5. Sprinkle the grated cheese over the eggs and onions.
  6. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake until the eggs are just set, about 8 to 10 minutes.
  7. Garnish with chopped fresh herbs before serving.

You can use any type of cheese you prefer or have on hand.
