Baked Eggs With Onions and Cheese

- 2 tablespoonolive oil
- black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large ovenproof skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the sliced onions and cook, stirring occasionally, until they are soft and golden brown, about 15 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper.
- Make four indentations in the onions and crack an egg into each indentation.
- Sprinkle the grated cheese over the eggs and onions.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake until the eggs are just set, about 8 to 10 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped fresh herbs before serving.

You can use any type of cheese you prefer or have on hand.
